What Good Readers Do by Josiah N.

What good readers do
by: Josiah
They skim and scan which means it you look for stuff in your own book with out reading.
They make connections which means that you relate back to what has happened in your life time and it is happening in your book.
They make predictions which means like you guess what your book is going to be like when you don’t
They have to have a purpose.

  4. I enjoyed learning from you. We often need reminders like this as we go through life and continue our education.

  5. Great job, Josiah! I agree with you on all 4 ideas that you have about being a good reader. I am especially glad to know that it is OK to skim and scan, because I do this a lot of times when I read. I look for the important parts on a page that tells me the main idea of what is going on in a story. Then sometimes, I go back and read over the whole text if I think I am missing something important because I skimmed too fast. Keep On Reading!
